At Silk Street Entertainment, we often get asked the same questions from our clients. To save time and to make sure you have all the information you need before getting in touch, within this page you’ll find answers to some of the most common questions our clients ask us:

How much does it cost to hire your Acts?

All of our quotes are created to suit your needs and the cost depends on the Act you hire, the length of the performance and the location of the event. We do show guide prices to give you an idea of the costs involved. In order to get an accurate quotation, simply select your Act(s) and submit your enquiry. We’ll get back to you as soon as we can.

Can I see the Act perform beforehand?

Most of our bookings are for private events, however on some occasions our Acts do give public performances. If you’d like to see an Act perform before booking, please ask when you enquire - we’ll let you know if they have any public performances coming up. You can also see videos of all of our Acts on their profile page. These will give you a good idea of what they look and sound like when performing.

How do I make an enquiry or booking?

To make an enquiry or book, get in touch using our enquiry form, once you’ve browsed the site and shortlisted your chosen Act(s). If you’d rather, you can also get in touch by email or phone.

Do you require a deposit?

Yes - a deposit is payable when you place your booking. This allows us to secure your booking and book the Act(s) for your event.

What details do I need to provide?

Our online quote request form will prompt you for the details we need. Within the form we ask for information such as the date of the event, the location, the performance times and your contact details. The information we ask for helps us to give you a genuine and accurate quote from the offset, so it helps us if you can include as much information as possible.

How long will the Act perform for?

We’ll work together to decide this with you and the Act you book will perform a certain number of sets depending on the length of your event. You can see a guide to each performance within each Act’s profile page.

Will the Act perform requests?

Where possible, requests can be catered for at the discretion of the Act. Each Act shows it’s Song List within their profile page, so it’s worth checking to see if they perform your chosen songs as standard. If you have a favourite song or first dance number in mind, please feel free to check with us first or chat it through with the Act once you have placed your booking.

What equipment will the Act supply?

The Act will supply everything that is required for their performance. Please see the Act's profile page for further information.

How much space does the Act need?

Each Act requires a different amount of space depending on the size of the band and the instruments or equipment they use. The approximate amount of space the Act requires is shown on the Act's profile page.

Will the Act provide music in between their sets / during breaks?

If the Act provides a PA or DJ service then this can usually be provided. Please see the Act’s profile page for further information.

What happens if I need to cancel my booking?

Unfortunately if you need to cancel your booking, you may be subject to a cancellation fee depending on when you let us know. This is because our Acts will have more than likely turned down other bookings to meet their commitment to you. If you think you might have to cancel your booking, please contact us at your earliest convenience to let us know.
